Frederick, Maryland – The Honorable Roscoe G. Bartlett was named to the prestigious Honor Roll of Legislative Achievement in Economic Development from the Southern Economic Development Commission (SEDC). SEDC is the oldest and largest regionally based economic development organization in North America. It s membership approaches 1,300 and is comprised of both members from the public sector as well as private sector members involved in construction, development and financing.
On hand to present the award to Congressman Bartlett was , Partner and Director of Business Development for the Tyler Companies a locally based HVAC/Mechanical Plumbing Contractor and commercial Real Estate firm. Mr. Duncan serves as the SEDC State Director. Also, on hand was Marie Keegin, Executive Director of the Frederick County Office of Economic Development and a Board Member of MIDAS (Maryland’s Economic Development Association) who recently honored Cas Taylor as its Volunteer of the Year. Mr. Taylor will attend the SEDC Annual Conference in Hilton Head this fall to receive an SEDC Volunteer of the Year Award.
Mr. Duncan stated, “Congressman Bartlett is one of two Marylanders who received this honor. It is because of your diligent and consistent efforts to support legislation that enhances the economic vitality and growth of employment opportunities that SEDC thanks you.” |
