Tyler Mechanical Contracting is seeking a motivated and innovative professional with extensive estimating and pre-construction experience.   Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 7 years estimation experience with 2 years of senior estimating.   Candidates must perform the following duties: prepare quantity surveys, negotiate subcontractor and vendor price quotations, accurately scope material and prepare preliminary cost budgets.

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of automated estimation systems (Estimation, Inc. is used at TMC)
• Excellent writing skills for use in the preparation of detailed proposals
• Excellent verbal communication skills for participating in business sales development and production meetings
• Capable of closing a sales opportunity
• Ability to facilitate project turnover meetings between estimation, project management and field production
• Familiarization with conceptual estimates and the design-build process
• Detailed technical knowledge of commercial mechanical & plumbing systems
• Knowledge of construction cost control and basic accounting procedures.   Computer skills a must.
