Summary:
|
|
HVAC systems were comprised of a heating hot water system, chilled water system, misc. DX units, roof top self contained units and 20 interior air handlers.   The central plant involved two 300 ton variable speed chillers with matching cooling towers and two 200 HP fuel-oil fired hot water boilers feeding the hydronic piping systems.   All duct work was zoned by the air handlers and 116 fan-powered VAV terminal boxes with HTG and CLG hydronic coils. Plumbing systems included the normal sanitary, storm, gas, fuel-oil, acid-waste and misc. systems serving over 200 plumbing fixtures and cafeteria equipment.
